The main challenge of this luxury villa was to overcome the unevenness of the plot with a great slope and create a route along the garden to give use to the entire surface of the land. We decided to take advantage of these slopes to create different areas within the garden, on the upper floor a Mediterranean garden, and on the ground floor, a private oasis, the designer’s idea. The two areas are connected by a staircase covered with grass. At the entrance and sides of the house, different elements were used, such as a round fountain and several areas of herbs that give movement to the garden that create different focal points. In the main façade, an arid area inspired by the Mediterranean garden was created, with a large olive tree as the protagonist, accompanied by an area of culinary plants that accompany the barbecue in the outdoor dining room. In the lower part of the plot we designed a secret garden with several water elements such as a Zen-inspired pond with aquatic plants and a dry river that runs down from the slope, which becomes a private oasis with the sound of water as the protagonist. In that area a small private beach was also designed with natural decorative elements that serves as a playground.
