Quinta San Juan is a property of approximately 10,000 m² located in the heart of the prestigious Rocío de Nagüeles residential area.
The estate originally featured an existing garden that had fallen into disrepair and neglect. Our main challenge was to update and transform it into a contemporary space while preserving the original colonial essence with Mozarabic touches. Additionally, we sought to enhance the garden’s functionality and diversity of uses.
To achieve this, we designed new areas adapted to different moments and lifestyles. Around the main water lily fountain, which serves as the property’s central axis, we created a gathering and celebration space with a large gravel and lawn platform, perfect for parties and social events.
We also developed a vegetable garden area, accompanied by an outdoor dining and kitchen space, surrounded by fruit trees and vegetables. This reinforces the connection with nature and allows a more authentic, hands-on lifestyle. In the same spirit, we designed a playful and original area: an outdoor cinema on a sandy islet, equipped with comfortable and casual furniture for summer movie nights.
Around the pool, which was originally at a lower level, we created raised platforms to incorporate Balinese beds, generating a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere for enjoying the sun and serenity of the garden.
With these interventions, Quinta San Juan regained the life and character it deserved, combining tradition and modernity in a unique landscape design project.
